WEATHER ALERT: Hair we go again! Waterford issued with yet another wind warning

Waterford has been issued with yet another weather warning from Met Éireann.

It is one of eight counties that have been issued with four separate weather warnings. The other affected counties are Kerry, Cork, Wexford, Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Wicklow.

A Status Yellow wind warning has also been issued for Waterford, Wexford and Cork. Met Éireann has forecast south to southeast winds of 50-65 km/hr and gusts of up to 90-110 km/hr, with the strongest winds expected on coasts and hills.

There is also a risk of coastal flooding around the period of high tides.

The warning comes into effect from 2am tomorrow and will remain in place for 12 hours.
