Waterford’s rail and bus services to be scaled back from next week
Major changes to the public transport system serving Waterford will kick into place next week.
At this morning’s Government briefing on the Covid-19 pandemic it was confirmed Irish Rail and Bus Éireann services will be scaled back from the start of next week.
As of from Monday, Irish Rail will be operating a revised schedule, while Bus Éireann will introduce their reduced schedule next Wednesday, April 1.
Irish Rail will be reducing the amount of service on the Waterford to Dublin service from eight trains a day to six trains. The changes can be found on Irish Rail’s website.
People expecting to use Bus Éireann services are asked to look up their website to see the changes to services or can call 1850 836 611 for information.
