Waterford’s hurling league game against Limerick called off this evening
The Waterford v Limerick National League Hurling match scheduled for this evening has been postponed to tomorrow afternoon.
The decision to rearrange the match, scheduled to throw-in at 7pm this evening at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick, was made earlier this afternoon after the pitch was inspected and conditions were taken into account.
The rain in Limerick, brought in by Storm Dennis has made the Ennis Road pitch unplayable this evening, and the match has been rescheduled to start at 2pm tomorrow at the Gaelic Grounds again.
Another pitch inspection will take place at 9am tomorrow and a decision on whether the game will go ahead will be taken then.
