All Together Now: Waterford festival in running to reclaim crown as best in business
A county Waterford Music festival that has captured the public’s imagination has again been shortlisted for Ireland’s best music festival.
The All Together Now festival, held on August bank holiday weekend at Curraghmore Estate in Portlaw has been nominated for the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) Music Festival of the Year, a title it won last year.
ATN, which saw around 20,000 revellers flock to the picturesque county Waterford setting last summer to see the likes of Fontaines DC, Orbital, The National, Hot Chip, Jon Hopkins and local favourites King Kong Company put on epic performances, finds itself up against some stiff competition from established festivals such as Body & Soul,
Electric Picnic, Longitude, Féile ’19, Galway International Arts Festival, Forbidden Fruit and the Sea Sessions for this coveted title.
The IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Awards 2019 will take place on Tuesday, February 11 at Twenty Two, South Anne Street in Dublin.
