Waterford start-up hoping to KOLLECT as it floats on stock exchange
A Waterford-based company is looking to expand its business significantly after it floats on a stock exchange, in Sweden.
Kollect is looking to expand its service in seven UK cities following its flotation on the Nasdaq’s First North stock exchange in Stockholm next month.
The Nasdaq exchange is specifically designed for European start-ups.
The company is valued at approximately €4.7m and it is putting roughly half the company (€2.3 million worth of shares) up for sale in the floatation. Shares will sell at around €1.32.
Investors can register interest to buy from today and the book will remain open until December 10.
Kollect employs 39 people and opened offices in Manchester in September. The company has ambitions to have its service available in 79 cities in the UK.
