Waterford Property Price Guide: see how much your home is worth in 2020
House prices were largely unchanged across Waterford city and country last year -and this is likely to remain the same in 2020, according to the latest Sunday Times Property Price Guide published today.
Average house prices in Dungarvan rose from almost €190,000 to €200,000, but elsewhere the market was pretty much flat.
The average price of a three-bedroom semi house in Dungarvan is now €250,000, €10,000 higher than in Waterford city and Tramore, according to the guide.
There were sharp rises in rents locally last year, mostly because of the lack of supply. The guide says rent-pressure zones have “proved effective” at keeping rents in check, but it notes private landlords city and county in the have been cautious about entering the market.
