Waterford into quarter-finals after being beaten by Limerick in Allianz Hurling League

Waterford were well-beaten in this evening’s Allianz Hurling League match in the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick.

The final score was 1-21 for Limerick to the Deise’s 1-17.

Jack Fagan scored Waterford’s goal in the 56th minute when the scores were 1-16 to 0-11 but it was too little too late for the Deise.

It was 1-08 to 0-07 at half-time and the result means Waterford now face a quarter-final next weekend while the treaty County progress to the semis.

Both teams’ opponents will be known tomorrow following the results of the final games in the league.
