Waterford Council makes free parking available for essential and frontline workers
Waterford City and County Council is making its public car-parks free to all the amazing people on the frontline battling against coronavirus.
The council announced last night it was throwing open the gates of their car parks in Waterford City and Dungarvan in a move to support essential and frontline workers in this time of crisis.
A tweet released by the local authority said: “To support essential and front line workers in #Waterford City Centre and #Dungarvan, all Waterford Council operated parking facilities will be free of charge until midnight of 11th April 2020.
“Please park responsibly & obey normal parking rules,” the tweet ended.
