Waterford art gallery in the frame for €9,000 funding boost

The Goma Gallery of Modern Art in Waterford has been awarded €9,000 in funding from the Arts Council.

The funding was made available through the 2020 Visual Artists Workspace Scheme.

The Goma Gallery and studios in Galway, Cork, Clare, Dublin, Limerick, Louth and Mayo will receive grants this year totalling €260,000 to allow them to maintain vital facilities and provisions for visual artists.

The scheme offers grants of up to €40,000 to help towards the running costs of visual artists’ workspaces.
