WATCH: Back on Track – popular Waterford tourist attraction returns with brand new look
One of Waterford’s leading tourist attractions is back open and has high hopes its fantastic new look will draw in the crowds.
The hugely popular Waterford Suir Valley Railway, located beside the village of Kilmeaden, got back on track yesterday and its beautiful narrow gauge engine and carriages have been given fantastic new liveries.
The stunning new look for the train is not the only new aspect of the business, as they are launching a new website and online booking system which will go live from today.
The Suir Valley Railway team took to Social Media to give people a sneak preview of the fabulous looking new colours of the rail and said: “ Presenting the Waterford Suir Valley Railway.
“New brand and livery on the train. We are so excited to begin operating tomorrow with this new brand image.
“Thanks to Colin and Stacie from Totem for the design and Waterford Leader Partnership CLG for making it possible, James Kelly for the paintwork assisted by David Darlington and the WSVR maintenance crew,” they concluded.
