WATCH: A 55/1 De Bromhead double on first day at Cheltenham
It’s a magnificent 55/1 double for Waterford trainer Henry De Bromhead on the first day at Cheltenham after Honeysuckle took the wind out of odds-on favourite Benie Des Dieux sails in the Mare’s Hurdle.
Rachael Blackmore gave the beautiful mare an unbelievable ride to position her off the hill and ride her home at a price of 9/4.
Earlier Put The Kettle On, ridden by Aidan Coleman came in at 16/1 beating Joseph O’Brien’s Fakir D’Oudairies by a handy length in the Arkle.
Great start to the week for the Knockeen yard for De Bromhead who has enough weapons to get a couple more in the winners enclosure and challenge for top trainer.
