Two men perish in tragic house fire in Kells

Two men have died in a house fire.

The tragedy occured after a blaze ripped through the victims’ home in Kells, Co Meath, at around 3am this morning.

Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the scene, but the two men, who were aged in their 40s and 50s, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other occupants of the house, a male and female, were uninjured.

A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are investigating all circumstances of this incident. No further information is available at this time.”
