Third coronavirus testing centre to open in county Waterford

A third coronavirus testing centre is due to open in county Waterford in the coming days.

In the last hour, the Waterford GAA county board confirmed that Fraher Field in Dungarvan will be used as a drive-through centre.

This brings the number of testing centres in county Waterford up to three. Already there are testing centres set up in WIT Arena in Waterford and another in a facility in Ballytruckle in the city.

In a statement released on social media, the county board said: “Waterford GAA would like to confirm that Fraher Field, Dungarvan will be used as a drive-thru testing centre for Covid-19 Waterford GAA are happy to facilitate the HSE at this time.”

Again, people are being asked to stay away from these testing centres and only attend if instructed to do so.
