The show must go on: Waterford’s scaled back Spraoi to hit streets tonight
Spraoi, Waterford’s annual festival extravaganza, has had to curb its activities due to Covid-19 this year, however the organisers have come good on their promise to create something wonderful for the people of the city and county.
From tonight Spraoi will be bringing their work to the city as part of their Streetscape programme, created in conjunction with Every Event, all in an effort to add a little flavour of the famous festival to the streets of the city.
The Spraoi street art installations are located at George’s Street, Arundel Square, Michael Street and Lady Lane.

A spokesperson for Spraoi said: “(The installations) will go ahead as planned later this week despite the cancellation of Spraoi Time 2020 due to recently tightened COVID-19 restrictions on outdoor events.
“Our team have worked incredibly hard on these installations and we can’t wait for you to see them!” the spokesperson said.
The streetscape installations and other festival activities will run until Saturday, September 12.
