Spin doctor: Waterford DJ to stream set into your house to raise money for frontline heath workers
A number of Waterford clubs and DJs are organising a club night in your living room, all in an effort to raise funds for the staff at University Hospital Waterford.
Clubs Online for the Frontline is an online festival style concert aimed at bringing people together to hear great tunes and top DJs all streamed into the comfort of their own living room.
This Saturday evening will see the second Clubs Online event and all the money raised by the clubgoers dancing around their coffee tables will this week be donated to University Hospital Waterford.
Twenty nightclubs around Ireland, including Waterford nightclubs Factory, Masons, Sinnotts and The Shanty in Tramore, have gotten together to run the event. Last weekend, organisers raised €3000 for the Mater Hospital in Dublin.
Clubs Online is an idea brought to life by local man Stephen Power, Maniac 2000 DJ Mark McCabe and Ray Hickey from Athy in Kildare.
Waterford DJ Graham Kenneally AKA Tikanni will be on the decks entertaining the masses this Saturday night.
Clubs Online for the Frontline will go live via Facebook this Saturday at 6pm, they will also be live on the Facebook pages of the four Waterford clubs.
