SNOW SNAPS: Comeraghs captured in all their glistening glory
On a good day the Comeragh Mountains are sight to behold.
When nature graces us with some snow showers, the true beauty of the Comeragh’s come through.
The white snow dusting the peaks and glacial coums becomes a perfect foil for the bare sandstone rock which when damp, darkens the mountainsides giving the Comeraghs an other-worldly atmosphere on days like these.
Some hardy Waterford souls decided to get right into belly of the beautiful beast today to capture the Comeragh’s rare beauty. They were then kind enough to share them with the world.
Hard to imagine Lackendarra living up here for so long.
