Six Waterford community groups share €190,000 in Covid grants
Six Waterford community programmes have received close to €190,000 in new funding to help them continue their good work throughout the pandemic.
They are among 209 organisations across the country to benefit from €11 million worth of funding under the third tranche of the Covid-19 Stability Fund announced by the Government last week.
The Stability Scheme provides immediate, short term cash flow to organisations who deliver critical services to those most vulnerable in society and have seen their trading or fundraising income drop significantly during the crisis.
The local projects that will benefit from the initial tranche of funding worth €190,000 are:
