School in Waterford’s Gaeltacht unveils plans to build new extension

A national school in Waterford’s Gaeltacht has applied to the local authority to build an extension.
The Board of Management of Scoil Naisiunta na Rinne, Maoil a Choirnigh, An Rinn, Dun Garbhan recently made an application to Waterford City and County Council looking to build a new classroom and resource room.
The application to the local authority also requested permission to build a new storeroom, pedestrian entrance, toilet and foyer, as well as a connection to the existing school building.
Scoil Naisiunta na Rinne currently caters for 150 students, both girls and boys.
A decision is due on the application early in the New Year.
