RTÉ star Dermot Bannon turns to leading Waterford store to improve his room

A leading Waterford furniture store that previously featured on RTÉ’s Room to Improve received a visit from a celebrity customer recently when the host of the popular programme dropped in to select bespoke pieces for his own new home.

Presenter and architect Dermot Bannon’s tortured attempts to revamp his own Dublin home had viewers glued to a special two-part series that showed the star of the show’s own makeover journey.

After all Dermot’s televised trials and tribulations, the presenter returned to Waterford to visit Sienna Home Furnishings in the Tramore Road Business Park to help finish the job.

Sienna owners Paul and Janice Lenehan said they were “delighted” Dermot returned to their Waterford showroom store featured on his series last October.

Janice added: “It was really great working with Dermot, and we were absolutely thrilled that given all his experience and contacts, he still came to Waterford and Sienna to help furnish his state-of-the-art new home.”
