REST IN PEACE: Waterford Death Notices

Andrew (Andy) ELLIS

Andrew (Andy) Ellis 23/09/1937-21/04/2020.

The death has occurred of Andrew (Andy) Ellis, formerly of Brown Street Portlaw and London. Andy passed away peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of Care Choice Nursing Home, Dungarvan, where he has resided for many years. Andy will be sadly missed by his brothers Sean, Martin and Frank and sisters Birdie, Josephine, Anna Marie, Philomena and Christine. He was predeceased by his brother Eoin and sisters Maureen and Teresa. Andy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Andy’s funeral will take place, privately, on Friday, April 24, in St Molleran’s Church, Carrick-on-Suir, followed by burial in at St Mary’s Cemetery. Mass available from 11am on Church webcam.

Hazelwood, Belmont Park, Ferrybank, Waterford/Athlone, Roscommon

Francis (Francie) Henry, Hazelwood, Belmont Park, Ferrybank, Co. Waterford and late of Clonellan, Ballydangan, Athlone, Co. Roscommon and Curlea, Curraghboy, Athlone, Co. Roscommon, who died on Wednesday April 22nd 2020 peacefully in the tender and loving care of the staff at Hazelwood. Predeceased by his parents James and Mary, sister Mary Anne, and niece Gemma. Francis will be sadly missed by his loving sister Theresa (Curley), brothers Paddy and Jimmy, sisters-in-law Pat and Maura, brother-in-law Mick Fensom (Coventry), nephews, nieces, extended family and all at the Brothers of Charity, Waterford.

To follow best practice and guidelines due to the Covid-19 pandemic and with the support of the family, a private funeral will take place. A mass to celebrate the life of Francis will be held at a later date.

MURRAY; Convent Street, Tallow, Co, Waterford and formerly of Knockgriffin, Midleton, Co. Cork. On 22nd April 2020, peacefully, Margaret (Peggy) (Nee Meade), loving wife of the late Jimmy Murray. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Mary Sweeney and Michelle Higgins, brothers Christy and Tommy Meade, sister May Horgan, sons-in-law Pat Sweeney and John Higgins, sister-in-law Noreen, grandchildren Jamie, Cathal, Roisín, Abigail and Emily, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and special friends.

Margaret’s Funeral will take place privately.

Due to Government and H.S.E. advice and guidelines regarding public gatherings and to protect our most vulnerable family members and our friends, a private family funeral will take place. We look forward to meeting everyone at a

Memorial Service at a later date.

Waterford, 22nd April 2020, peacefully in the tender care of staff at the Brothers of Charity, Belmont Park, Bridget,deeply mourned by her sister Eileen, brother Michael, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends. Bridget is predeceased by her sister Mary and brothers Eddie and Dinny.

In accordance with Irish Government and HSE recommendations Bridget’s Requiem Mass will take place privately.

Paddy is predeceased by his parents, sisters Biddy, Rita, Birdie and Lottie, brothers Jimmy and Maurice.
