REST IN PEACE: Waterford Death Notices

Devonshire Cottage’s, Lismore

BARRY; Devonshire Cottage’s, Lismore, Co. Waterford. On 12th November 2020, peacefully, in the tender and loving care of the staff at Medical 5 in Waterford University Hospital, Bridie, loving sister of the late Dick, Jimmy and John Barry. Deeply regretted by her loving sister Mary Foley, sister-in-law Teresa Barry, nephews David Foley and John Barry, niece Marian Barry, special friend Orla Russell, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Bridie’s Funeral will take place privately.

Due to Government and H.S.E. advice and guidelines regarding public gatherings and to protect our most vulnerable family members and our friends, a private family funeral will take place. We look forward to meeting everyone at a Memorial Service at a later date.

CORCORAN, Seamus (Coolagh, Abbeyside, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford). On November 11th, 2020, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Taken too soon after a very happy life. Joining in rest his loving family members including his parents Peg and Brendan, his brother Sean, loving aunts, uncles and extended family. Lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Margaret, sons Seán and Steve, brother Brendan, daughter-in-law Aoife and loving family, including David, and a wide circle of great friends.

A special thank you to all those who gave Seamus great care over the past two years. William (Willie) Joseph FITZGERALD
Bristol, England formerly of Thomashill, Waterford

William (Willie) Joseph Fitzgerald of Bristol, England formerly of Thomashill, Waterford Ireland who died on Tuesday 03/11/2020 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Kit and William Fitzgerald of Thomashill, Waterford and his wife Brenda and sister Patricia and brother Gerald. Willie will be sadly missed by his sons Sean and Andrew and daughters Theresa and Jayne and his son-in-laws and daughter-in-laws and his grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters Berna, Phyllis and Aideen and nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Willie’s removal will take place on Thursday, 26th November, 2020, to St. Teresa’s Church, Bristol, England, for Requiem Mass followed by burial on Friday, 27th November, 2020.

The Death has occurred of Larry Jacob R.I.P

Late of St Johns Park, Waterford who died on Wednesday the 11th of November.

Beloved husband to Monica and loving father to Toinette, Peter and Paul. Sadly missed by his sisters Teesie, Bridie, beloved grandchildren Rachel, Laura, David, Sally,Hannah, Ellen and Holly, daughters in law, Julie and Clodagh,brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends & neighbours. Predeceased by his Son in Law Gerry and his brothers and sisters.He was much loved and admired and will be sadly missed by many.

Reposing at his residence on Friday the 13th of November.Requiem Mass on Saturday the 14th of November at 12.30 in the Sacred heart Church ,The Folly , Waterford followed by interment in Butlerstown cemetery.

In accordance with current Government and H.S.E. guidelines, Larry’s Reposal, funeral Mass and burial will take place privately.

James (Jim) O’Sullivan, Johns Avenue, Waterford & late of Waterford Stanley, 11th November, 2020. Predeceased by his wife Margaret. Will be sadly missed by his loving son Ray, daughter Marie, son-in-law Roy, grandchildren Kellie, and Mark, brothers Addy and Vincent, sister Josephine, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass on Sunday in St. John’s Church, Parnell Street followed by burial in St. Otterans Cemetery. Jim’s Funeral cortége will pass Johns Avenue at 11:50 am on the way to the Church.

David Martin Rio, Saint Herblain, Waterford and formerly of Abbeyside, Dungarvan and New York, 11th November 2020 in the loving care of the staff of Grangemore, St. Otterans Hospital. David is predeceased by his parents Bernadette and Joseph and brother Michael. Will be sadly missed by his sister Tina and his nephews Eddie, Brian, Danny, Jason, Donnchadh and Luke and his niece Jade, grandnephews and grandnieces, great grandnephew, sisters-in-law Stephanie and Sheila, aunt Carmel and his cousins and friends.
