Hayes, (née Power), The Pike, Garranbane, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford and formerly Williamstown, Stradbally, on 14th September 2020, Margaret.

Predeceased by her brothers Paddy and James. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband John, sons and daughters, Teresa, Richard, John Joe, Michelle, James, Brian, Barry and Mark, son-in-law Damon, daughters-in-law Jillian, Aisling, Orla and Sara, Barry’s fiancé Sarah, grandchildren Fabian, Holly, Ella, Dan, Tomás, Johnathan, AJ, Hanah, Isabelle and Lucas, brothers Michael, Nicolas, John, Joe, Jervase and Ray, sisters Alice, Joan and Marcela, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, close friend Maureen Whyte, extended family, relatives and friends.

In accordance with current Government guidelines and HSE directives for Covid-19 regarding public gatherings, with the support of the family and in the interest of public health,

Funeral will take place privately

John O’Brien, Fenor North, Tramore, Co. Waterford. Will be sadly missed by his loving wife Jacqueline, daughter Leah, son Darragh, mother Annette, brothers Jim and Mark, sister Karen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, godchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Private Cremation will take place in the Island Crematorium, Cork. No flowers by request please. John’s funeral cortege will pass his residence on Wednesday (September 16th) at 1.45pm.

Due to H.S.E. guidelines the funeral mass and burial will be private to the immediate family and close friends. We suggest using the online condolence page here as an option to offer your sympathies. Thank you for your co-operation and consideration at this difficult time.

Maureen WALSH (née Hartley)
Davidstown, Slieverue, Kilkenny/Halfway House, Waterford

Maureen Walsh (née Hartley), Davidstown, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny, and late of Ballinaboola, Halfway House, Co. Waterford, who died on Monday, 14th September 2020, peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Tom, parents Edmund and Mary, sisters Nora and Alice, brother Neddy. Maureen will be sadly missed by her son Edmund, daughters Eleanor (O’Connor) and Marie (Morrissey), daughter-in-law Catherine, sons-in-law John and Robert, grandchildren Michael, Mark, Rachel, Ruth, Ethan, Tara, Avril, Callum, Amelia and Eve, sister Maggie (McBride), brother John, brother-in-law Teddy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Maureen will be reposing in Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Tuesday, 15th September, from 5.00pm to 7pm for family and friends. Removal on Wednesday, 16th September, to the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue arriving for Requiem Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
