REST IN PEACE: Waterford Death Notices

DUGGAN (Cork & Dungarvan) on 26th July 2020, peacefully in the loving and tender care of the nurses and staff of Brookfield Nursing Home. Rev. Fr. Iain O.F.M., St. Francis Church, Liberty Street. Beloved brother of Phil, Jimmy, Anthony and Paddy. Sadly missed by his loving brothers, extended family, relatives, friends and the Franciscan Community.

Jack Lonergan
Tickincor, Clonmel, Waterford / Clonmel, Tipperary

The death has occurred of Jack Lonergan, Tickincor, Clonmel. Jack passed away peacefully under the tender care of the staff of Fennor Hill Care Facility, Urlingford on Sunday morning. Pre-deceased by his sister Margaret Lonergan, he will be sadly missed by his sisters Annie (Moloney) and Dolly (Purcell), brother-in-law Sean (Lonergan), nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held in St Mary’s Church, Gambonsfield, Kilsheelan on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Killaloan Cemetery.

McCarthy (née Walsh), Coolaneen, Cappoquin, Co. Waterford, on 26th July 2020, Catherine, peacefully, in the presence of her family and in the loving care of the staff of Cork University Hospital, after a long illness, bravely bourne. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Billy, her children Brian, Niamh, Kieran and Aoife, sister Mary, brother John, daughter-in-law Anne Maria, son-in-law Dave, Dede, Owen, grandson Jack, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Conor Walshe R.I.P., late of Elm Park, Tramore, Co Waterford, who died on Monday the 27th of July. Sadly missed by his 3 daughters, Marianne, Sara and Catherine, his son in law Willie, his 5 grandchildren, Conor, Liam, Patrick, Sophie and Kevin and his twin sister Barbara. Also missed by all his nieces and nephews and in laws and great friends.

Reposing at James Falconer Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore on Wednesday the 29th of July from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral arriving at the Holy Cross Church, Tramore on Thursday the 30th of July for requiem Mass at 11am, followed by interment at St Otteran’s Cemetery, Ballinaneeshagh, Waterford immediately afterwards.
