REST IN PEACE: Wateford Death Notices

Currabaha, Dungarvan

Dunford, Currabaha, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, on 1st September 2020, Patrick (Paddy), peacefully in the loving and tender care of staff at St. Vincent’s Unit, Dungarvan Community Hospital.

Predeceased by his brother James (Jim) Dunford, Kill. Deeply regretted by his loving brother Tom and sister-in-law Eileen (Waterford), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

In accordance with current Government guidelines and HSE directives for Covid-19 regarding public gatherings, with the support of the family and in the interest of public health, Funeral will take place privately.

Sr. Gwen POWER R.S.H.M
Madonna House, Ferrybank/Tramore

Sr. Gwen Power, Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, Madonna House, Ferrybank, and late of Carriglong, Tramore, who died on Wednesday, 2nd September 2020, peacefully, at Madonna House. Predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters Sr. Gwen will be sadly missed by the Power family, Patrick St. Tramore, nieces, nephews, the Sacred Heart of Mary Sisters, extended family and friends.

Sr Gwen’s removal will take place on Thursday, 3rd September, to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery.

Susan WHELAN (née Hughes)
Roanmore Park, Waterford City

Mrs Susan Whelan nee Hughes, Roanmore Park, Waterford, formerly of Anne Street and late of Waterford Crystal. Predeceased by her husband Danny and her son Anthony. Sadly missed by her daughter Miriam and son Paddy, son-in-law John, grandchildren Tracey, Michelle and Shane, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass will take place in Ballybricken Church followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery on Friday.

Susan’s Funeral Cortège will be walking from Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford, to Ballybricken Church at 11.30am on Friday.
