Plans for new development of family homes on outskirts of Waterford city
Plans have been lodged with the local authority seeking permission to create a small development of family homes on the outskirts of Waterford city.
Developer Noel P0wer has applied to Waterford City and County Council for permission to build nine family houses on lands formerly owned by Roanmore GAA on the Cleaboy Road.
The development is seeking to create two separate blocks, both are of which are wo-storey, terraced blocks. One block contains five three-bedroom homes with the other consisting of four three-bedroom homes.
The plans also call for the provision of 15 car parking space on the 0.33 hectare site on the outskirts of the city.
As part of the development, Noel Power intends upgrading both the existing roadway and the entrance from Cleaboy Road into the new development.
Submissions from the public are being accepted by the local authority until the middle of June.
A decision on the project is expected in early July.
