Picture perfect: Waterford artist’s painting of bridge presented to Rose Kennedy Townsend
A painting by a Waterford artist was presented to Bobby Kennedy’s granddaughter at the recent opening of Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridge.

Maeve is also related to the Kennedy family and she was accompanied by her Uncle Pat Kennedy from the Dunganstown ancestral home close to this iconic bridge.
Maeve is a full-time artist and has been exhibiting her paintings for the past 30 years.
Her main solo exhibition is at Butler House gallery Kilkenny throughout the Kilkenny Arts Festival each year.
Maeve exhibits throughout the year at Greenacres Gallery, Wexford Town, where she is a selected artist for the annual show at the Wexford Festival Opera, as well as The Beach House Gallery and The Old Market House Arts Centre, Dungarvan and the Breakwater, Dunmore East.
