New development of family homes for Waterford village gets green light

A new development of houses for a Waterford village of just over 300 residents has been given the greeen light by the local authority.

Waterford City and County Council have approved plans for a development of four new family homes on the Main Street of Aglish Village, around 15km north of Dungarvan.

Horsom Contracting Ltd can no proceed with the plans to build two two-bedroom and two three-bedroom homes on a 0.11 hectare plot in the villages centre.

As part of the development an existing outhouse will be demolished to make way for the new homes.

All the houses will be two-storey semi-detached type townhouse and the new development will see the creation of four new entrance for parking spaces off the village’s Main Street.
