I’ll drink to that: Renowned 150-year-old county Waterford pub goes on market for €700,000
A historic county Waterford bar and renowned gastro-pub is set to go under the hammer in the coming weeks.
Foley’s on the Mall, on Lismore’s South Mall has been a fixture of the West Waterford’s historic and charming town for 150 years and remained within the same family up until this decade.
It is understood the current owners are selling as they are leaving for the USA, however, they leave behind a business with a highly sought after reputation and a property in turnkey condition.
Foley’s on the Mall dates back to 1870 but underwent extensive renovations in 2004 which has it in the immaculate condition it is in now.
The bar has become synonymous with exceptional food and can sit 100 people eating both inside and out yet have maintained the old-style feel and ambiance in the main bar.
It is due to go on sale by public auction on Saturday, April 2 at Foley’s and comes with a guide price of €700,000.
