Here we go again: Another thunder and rain weather warning issued for Waterford

Waterford is set  for another blast of thunder and rain following a fresh Yellow weather alert from Met Éireann this afternoon.

The national forecaster has issued a Status Yellow Thunder warning for this afternoon, which the forecaster warned could last until 9pm.

A rain warning has also been issued and extends up until 4pm on Sunday.

Met Éireann said today: “This afternoon, showers over Munster and south Leinster will extend over the south midlands and much of Connacht, some heavy and thundery with localised heavy downpours and spot flooding.”
