Have your say: Waterford Chambers invite members to election debate with candidates
If you’d like to hear what the election candidates have to say – and have your say yourself – then you should head along to the pre-election debate which will be jointly hosted by both Waterford and Dungarvan and West Waterford Chambers.
The event is set to take place on February 4 at the Theatre Royal in Waterford at 7pm and will see many of the general election candidates debate the topics and take questions from audience members.
Each candidate will be afforded the opportunity to outline their party policy on a variety of business topics and the audience will be given the chance to ask the candidates questions through the event facilitator former Waterford Chamber President Paul Nolan.
“We are very much looking forward to hosting this pre-election event in conjunction with Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber,” CEO of Waterford Chamber Gerald Hurley said.
“We know through engaging with our members that there are some very important and relevant topics which will need to be addressed by the election candidates to the business community and we feel that by hosting this event it offers our members the opportunity to present those issues to the GE2020 candidates.
“We are urging all Chamber members who wish to attend to register in order to secure a seat.”
This free event is exclusive to Waterford and Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber members only. Registration is essential at www.waterfordchamber.ie.
