Festive lighting displays bring beautiful Waterford walled gardens alive
Waterford’s stunning Mount Congreve walled gardens will come alive with festive lighting displays in the countdown to Christmas.
Visitors can enter the four-acre walled gardens under a canopy of twinkling ‘Woodland Lights’ as they begin their festive voyage through the glistening lights leading into the wonder of the lit-up walled garden and Victorian glasshouses.
The Café at Mount Congreve Gardens will also be open late for visitors to enjoy delicious hot chocolate or spiced drinks after their woodland walk. Mount Congreve Gardens also offers direct access to and from the Waterford Greenway.
Woodland Lights at Mount Congreve will open on Thursday, December 5 and until January 5 next, and every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6pm daily with the exception of Thursday and Friday, December 26 and December 27.
Tickets are €3 per child with under 2’s free; usual ticket pricing of €7 per adult applies. Tickets can be booked online at www.MountCongreve.com
