Eastern promise: Plans for 34 new homes in sought after Waterford location
A 34-unit family home development is being planned for a county Waterford, extremely popular with homebuyers.
The developer, Michael Bredican, lodged the plans for the new houses at Killea Road in Dunmore East with Waterford City and County Council last week.
It is hoped to develop a site containing 34 three and four-bed homes, which will include part V social and affordable housing.
The plans call for the development of just one three-bedroomed detached house, one four-bedroomed detached house, 15 four-bedroomed semi-detached houses, 13 three-bedroomed semi-detached houses, and three three-bedroomed semi-detached homes.
The development would see the creation of a large public outdoor space with gabion retaining walls, a surface water attenuation system and extensive landscaping of the site sitting above the town overlooking the sea.
