Dan ‘the Man’ Shanahan is Waterford’s new camogie coach
Waterford hurling legend Dan Dhanahan has been confirmed as his county’s new camogie coach.
The former hurler of the year will team up again manager Fergal O’Brien, who served alongside Shanahan as physical trainer in Derek McGrath’s backroom team.
Waterford Camogie confirmed the appointed, tweeting: “We are delighted to announce that Dan Shanahan will be our head Senior camogie coach for 2020! We wish fergal, Dan, Pauline and all the team the very best!”
Shanahan and O’Brien worked together to help Waterford’s hurlers reach the 2017 All-Ireland final where they were beaten by Galway.
