Biker rushed to hospital after collision on scenic Waterford coast road

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after he was involved in a collision with a car on in county Waterford.

The accident occurred on the coast road near Bunmahon in the Boatstrand area yesterday.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed to WaterfordNow.ie: “Gardaí in Tramore attended the scene of a road traffic collision that occurred near Bunmahon, Co Waterford.

“The collision involved a car and a motorcyclist. The driver of the motorcycle has since been taken to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of his injuries. Investigations are ongoing.”
