Beautiful Waterford county now second most expensive place to buy home in Munster

Waterford county is now the second most expensive place in Munster to buy a property, according to a new nationwide survey.
The newly-published Daft.ie Wealth Report says the average price of a home in the county now stands at €235,000, making the Déise the most expensive place in the province to live behind Cork city (€281,000).
Waterford is followed on the list by Cork county (€229,000), Kerry (€202,000) and Limerick city (€202,000).
Unsurprisingly, the report confirms much of the country’s property wealth is concentrated in Dublin.
Dublin 6 is now officially the country’s most expensive post code, where average property prices are now at an eye-watering €628,000.
Buying a home in the leafy suburb of Mount Merrion on the southside of the capital will put you back an average of €777,000.
