Ballygunner’s quest for seventh heaven off to a flier

Ballygunner began their search for seventh heaven by easily dispatching Sixmilebridge earlier today in the Munster Senior Club Hurling Championship.

Ballygunner began their defence in style with a 12-point victory, 1-21 to 0-12, over the Clare champions.

It was a first away from home win since 2011 for the six-in-a-row Waterford winners and they now face Patrickswell in Walsh Park next Sunday as they go for seven-in-a-row.
