60ft telecoms mast planned for centre of Waterford village
A national phone and broadband provider is seeking to erect an 18mt telecommunications tower in the centre of a Waterford village.
Eircom Limited has applied to Waterford City and County Council requesting permission to put up 60 ft tower at the company’s exchange on High Street in Stradbally.
The application from Eircom asks for: “The construction of an 18 metre high free standing communications structure with its associated antennae, communications dishes, ground equipment and all associated site development works.”
A decision on the application is expected by the end of January.
