30 new jobs announced for county Waterford town
A communications outsourcing company has announced it is to create 30 new jobs in Dungarvan.
Zevas Communications confirmed the news this morning as part of a fast tracked ‘hub strategy’ to move jobs beyond large urban centres.
Established in 2001, Zevas boasts an enviable list of clients, including some of the biggest tech companies in the world and already has campuses in both Cork and Dublin. Zevas have been looking at an expansion since 2019 and selected Dungarvan due to an array of positives, especially around work/life balance for employees.
Zevas plans to open further hubs in regional towns across the country.
Speaking about the jobs announcement, Zevas chief operating officer John O’Sullivan said: “We developed this concept with a view to being able to scale in tandem with our global clients. The approach, though very powerful, is a simple one, we take the job to the talent in the community.
“The demand for our services continues to steadily grow. As we service client needs all across Europe, North America and Asia, we are excited to add to our team and we feel non-urban hubs are an excellent way to access top talent.
“Dungarvan is full of potential, this something we want to harness. We have big plans and I’m excited for what we can do in the South East,” Mr O’Sullivan added.
Zevas Communications currently employ in excess of 200 people. The new jobs will be live on the Zevas career site www.zevas.com/careers from midday on Monday, October 28.
