SPONSORED: Creacon Wellness Retreat – the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate as Ireland’s reopens

As the country emerges from lockdown, there’s never never been a better time to look forward to a quality ‘staycation’. And you won’t find a more relaxing destination than the Creacon Wellness Retreat.

Everyone needs to relax. Everyone needs to reboot, rejuvenate and restore the peace of our minds and the health of our bodies.

The trouble is that the pace of modern life, which lies at the heart of so many problems, also often gets in the way of the solution.

Creacon Wellness Retreat, a little gem nestling among green hills just off the new Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridge on the N25 bypass outside New Ross, has the solution.

They call them flexi retreats. They allow you to choose a retreat that suits you, on a date that fits your calendar.

As the country emerges from lockdown, there’s never been a better time to look forward to a quality ‘staycation’. And you won’t find a more relaxing destination than the Creacon Wellness Retreat.

The team at Creacon are offering a variety of retreats and packages to choose from. They include yoga and meditation on a customised retreat tailored to suit your needs, with classes, treatments and the dietary requirements that work best for you.

Some wellness centres expect you to adapt to their timetable. Creacon Wellness Retreat lets you chose when you would like to come and how long you wish to stay.

The venue is now fully reopen and is offering a range of overnight packages, including accommodation in newly-renovated deluxe bedrooms, tranquil and media-free.

You can enjoy the three-day cleanse, a weekend getaway, or just a B&B break. And, because Creacon’s schedule is built around yours, day retreats are also available.

Guests, locals, and day visitors are welcome to book for treatments and sessions such as a facial, massage, reflexology, acupuncture, psychotherapy or yoga, meditation and mindfulness classes.

There are specialised workshops hosted by local, national and international facilitators on all aspects of well-being. And the cafe is open daily, offering tea and coffee, refreshing cold-pressed juices, healthy chef-inspired meals and delicious desserts.

“Wellness is crucial if we want to be happy in our everyday lives,” says Events Manager Alisa Canavan.

“Creacon is a place that works on helping people relax, rejuvenate and learn techniques that they can then include in their daily routine. The team create a friendly, casual atmosphere that allows all guests to feel comfortable and at ease during their time with us.”

The hub of Creacon was an historic inn, near New Ross, that was purchased in 2007 by Derek O’Neill and his late wife Linda. By the end of 2016 the building was completely transformed, along with a major extension that is completely self-sufficient, in line with Creacon’s strong eco-friendly ethos.

Since then it has been transformed into a 15-bedroom haven that nurtures your complete wellbeing.

Creacon is set in beautiful grounds with a stunning backdrop, and has won several awards including Lux Life Magazine’s 2019 award for the Leading Luxury Wellness Retreat.
