Revealed: Full list of 73 Waterford festivals and events to share €1.3m funding pot

Waterford City and County Council has allocated a total of €1,286,458 in festival funding to help develop and promote of events this year.

Some 73 local festival and events throughout the city and county will benefit from the funding.

Welcoming the funding, Waterford Mayor John Pratt said: “The main purpose of the Festival and Events Grants scheme is to provide financial assistance to groups and organisations engaged in developing festivals and events. The emphasis is on providing funding to assist the various festivals and events to grow and become sustainable and increase the attractions for visitor numbers to Waterford.”
