NORTH QUAYS: Council expects planning documents to be filed next week
Waterford City and County Council has said that it expects planning documents relating to the North Quays will be submitted next week.
“Waterford City and County Council understand that the final documents in respect of the North Quays Strategic Development Zone are being prepared for lodgement, that Falcon Real Estate will be publishing their Environmental Impact Assessment Report notification on the Department portal early next week to commence the planning submission process and that full lodgement will be completed within two weeks thereafter,” a statement from the council said.
Yesterday, WatefordNow.ie reported that the company behind the development would be making an announcement outlining “specific details” in relation to its long-awaited planning application over the coming days.
The Saudi-backed Falcon Real Estate Development previously said the planning application for the €350 million regeneration project would be lodged with Waterford City and County Council before the end of this month.
“Falcon Real Estate Development confirms that the company is currently preparing an application for planning permission for the Waterford North Quays and Michael Street Developments. The company intends to provide more specific details in the coming days,” a statement released to WaterfordNow.ie said.
