Network Ireland unveil new President and committee for 2020
Network Ireland’s Waterford branch has appointed Amy O’Sullivan as President for 2020.
The local branch, which has over 60 members, has also appointed 12 leading businesswoman from across the city and county to its committee for this year.
Speaking at its recent AGM, Ms O’Sullivan said: “I am delighted to be the President of Network Waterford branch for 2020. I joined Network Ireland almost four years ago and it has helped me so much in both my personal and professional development. As Ireland’s leading female business network, Network Ireland provides you with phenomenal support and the opportunity to collaborate within the network.
“Our theme for 2020 is #PowerWithin and we want to encourage each of you to recognise the power you have within yourself and within Network Ireland. I encourage each of you to make the most of your membership and avail of all of it’s benefits which includes free access to monthly events all over the country and our peer-to-peer mentoring programme.”
Ms O’Sullivan set out on her own entrepreneurial journey last year when she started her own boutique digital marketing agency, AOS Consulting.
She attributes Network Ireland for instilling her with the confidence to take the plunge and go out on her own
Ms O’Sullivan said: “For me, the presidency is an amazing opportunity to encourage more women to step out of their comfort zones and take their business and careers to the next level.”
Network Ireland Waterford holds monthly events for its members, some of which are open to non-members .
